This mobile home park, including over 200 trailers, a recreation building, and an apartment building, was destroyed by flooding during Hurricane Irene in August of 2011. From September 2014 to April 2016, EGC worked with the Town of Williamstown, MA to determine how to dispense with condemned trailers within FEMA budget constraints. Our services included asbestos testing, abatement design and bid administration, asbestos removal oversight and construction monitoring, as well as removal and closure of a 1000-gallon fuel oil underground storage tank, resulting in the removal and/or demolition of all structures, and clean-up of the site.
