Sadlow’s Auto Body, Adams, MA

This project involved the demolition of a building that housed an auto body paint shop, motorcycle repair shop, and cold-storage warehouse, and contained floor drains that historically discharged to the ground and/or a diversion channel running under the building. Our services included pre-demolition hazardous materials assessment, construction monitoring during hazardous materials removal, subsurface investigations, and LSP services related to the remediation of contaminated soils. Floor drains were closed per the Massachusetts Underground Injection Control (UIC) program, and site remediation was completed and gave way to the installation of a new culvert and parking lot.
